What i learned from my passion for entertainment .

Since my younger years I was quite addicted to television ,I was picky in what I want to watch but still found more than one or two shows that caught my attention and what was supposed to be a mere pastime became a main interest and a habit for me ,that attachment to television disappeared after I got my first computer and discovered the limitless virtual world that the internet presented to me .I remember I had 13 years at the time ,and I coincidently came across my first Asian drama ever , it’s name was “one liter of tears” , it was like a big eye opener ,I actually had much more choices in what I can watch and I gained a new perspective thanks to that .
I knew then that getting addicted to the internet could ruin my life ,but I still wanted to grasp that opportunity and continue diving into my new discovered world ,it was because I found the reality around me too boring and lacking that I made that particular choice and now that I think back to those times I don’t regret it ,while many will tell me I should’ve paid more attention to my studies and get involved in my environment instead of wasting time in front of that screen ,I’ll never ever think that that time was wasted ,in fact if I didn’t have that passion for the internet and the online world I don’t think I’ll be able to be the way I am today .I am far from perfect or even the average I can be ,but I know I can be more than what I am today ,that I can be the best version of myself if I have the will to do so ,that if I want to make a change and make the best of my life I just have to thrive hard for it and work hard until I can confidently say ‘’YES !! I DID IT SO PERFECTLY‘’….In fact I am a dreamer and I say it proudly ,because I have faith in myself and my capacities .
About all the knowledge that I have today is things I learned while surfing the internet, watching series ,movies and various shows ,and not only knowledge but I also learned great life lessons that people should live by .But I have to specify that if you want to watch anything you should be a mindful spectator and think about what values ,teachings and informations you gained from the show you devoted your time for .
I Want to share a story by the way ,truth is i began learning English way before we started learning it at school ,and the main reason was to watch Asian series (funny ,isn’t it ?) ,at that time the translation in French took about a week or more after the episodes were broadcasted ,but the English one only took a day or two ,so I made use of the translators online to get the main ideas of the happenings and scenes while waiting for the French subtitles ,as time passed by I started remembering the words and learning the language ,that just proves that if you really want something and feel good about it ,you’ll get it !
