My sunshine -Chinese Drama

I just completed watching My sunshine and since i found the exprience extremely enjoyable , i decided to do a quick review and express my thoughts regarding the plot ,the characters and the overall performance of the actors .

Summary :

While studying at the university , Zhao Mosheng met He Yichen and fell in love with him at first sight .After following (stalking) him for a period of time around the campus and through various situations, Yichen fell for Mosheng's cheerful and bubbly personality and the two became a couple .When He Yichen's foster sister He yimei and Mosheng's father came into the picture the two had a misunderstunding that caused the separation of the two sweethearts ,and Mosheng left for the USA to complet her studies as per her father's request .

After seven years Zhao Mosheng who became a professional photographer returned to China and met Yichen again .We get to see what happens between the two of them and how they will overcome all the struggles to finaly mend their hearts , be toghether and get the happy ending they longed for from their college years .

Review :

Before saying anything i should mention that this drama is an adaptation of the novel - silent separation - written by Gu Man ,and since i really liked the show i'll definitely read the english traslation of the novel the fatest i could .

Now let's start from the beginning ,i'm truly not someone who'll like a serie from the first episode ,but this time i really got hooked from the first twenty minutes of the show !! In fact i watched 15 episodes one after the other without taking a pause ,i just couldn't stop my excitement and the feeling of wanting to see what will happen to my lovely lovebirds ...eventhough they were not what we would usualy call lovely but in my heart i saw it that way ,their interactions from the first encounter they had when Mosheng returned from abroad was so captivating ,Wallace Chung really portrayed He Yihen well and the same goes for Tiffany Tang ,they really knew how to act the part and illustrate the complex feelings of the characters in every moment .

I wanted to hate Mosheng for leaving the perfect Yichen ,but i couldn't bring myself to do it ,seeing the younger version of the couple and how our female lead was so devoted to persuing him just made me unable to dislike her ,in fact i really liked the main couple both young and old ,they had perfect chemistry even when their personalities were miles apart ,and Yichen was kind of cute ,specialy how he handles the matters when it cames to Mosheng ,not to forget he was so intelligent and clever .

Now for how the story goes ,i found it perfect ,not quick paced or slow ...it kept the watchers thrilled and even someone like me who gets bored easily and who's not so passionate about romantic love stories ,i loved it and really shipped the drama from beginning to end .

I recommend watching it for anyone who wants to have some great time watching a light love story while keeping the boredom at bay .
